If laying Polished Sandstone indoors, the use of a suitable brand of sealant is recommended to provide a barrier against stains and to make cleaning easier. We recommend Pave Shield.
Number per square metre includes the recommended pointing gap i.e. 10-15mm. The thickness of Rosemount Purestone Polished Sandstone Paving is a nominal 25mm with Ivory and Rainbow having a nominal thickness of 20mm. We recommend that Purestone Polished Paving is laid on a full mortar bed. When laying, the addition of a PVA admix to the bedding mortar mix can enhance bonding or adhesion if required.

Using all three modules of Polished Sandstone Paving the area covered is approximately 15.55 square metres (including the average recommended pointing gap) and is made up of the following elements:
