Possessing the qualities and characteristics only natural stone can provide the Purestone Paving range gives rise to variations in colour, veining and texture thus maximising its natural appeal. We therefore strongly recommend that colour choice within a chosen range is made upon inspection of a number of pavers held by your local stockist.

1. Number per square metre includes the recommended pointing gap i.e. 10-15mm.
2. The thickness of all Purestone Sandstone Paving will vary from a nominal 25mm-40mm and can be taken up in the bedding material.
3. The hand-dressed edge detail on all Purestone Paving exhibits a taper or undercut running towards the back face of the flag. When laid with suitable pointing gaps the edges of adjacent paving will provide dovetail or reverse wedge shaped gaps which will considerably assist the “keying in” of the pointing mortar thereby increasing the durability of the finished joints.
4. We recommend that Purestone Paving is laid on a full mortar bed. When laying, the addition of a PVA admix to the bedding mortar mix can enhance bonding or adhesion if required.
